“Shall the Missouri Constitution be amended to prevent the state, counties, and other political subdivisions from imposing any new tax, including a sales tax, on the sale or transfer of homes or any other real estate?”
That is the proposed language for a Missouri Constitutional Amendment that is to be on the ballot this November. That is unless The Missouri Attorney General, Chris Koster gets away with a technicality claim and wins an appeal he appears to be pursuing.
A real estate transfer tax is a form of double taxation. Annual real estate taxes are already collected.
Missouri Secretary of State Robin Carnahan’s office has publicly stated plans to appeal the decision, resulting in further delays in formalizing voters’ opportunity to vote YES Nov. 2 to stop double taxation. UPDATE:
The appeal was withdrawn. The issue will be on the November 2 Ballot!
VOTE YES! to stop double taxation!

God bless you both for having the courage to put up this billboard. And thank you for appearing on FOX News -- hopefully, others will follow your lead. If we do not get this administration out of power in D.C., our country will be "fundamentally transformed" and definitely not for the better.
Thank you for being patriots and putting your business reputation on the line -- I know it will pay off!!
